Mobile phone location tracking in remote locations can be quite intermittent but I need something to give my family at home peace of mind that I am okay.
The hand-held SpotGen3 satellite and location tracking system I will use provides a number of safety functions:
Allow contacts to following and track my real-time location on a map by sending a signal to the satellite every 5 minutes.
Providing an SOS service should I be in need of emergency services intervention.
Providing a ‘check in’ and ‘check out’ messages to selected contacts.
