Day 46 - Rest day in Barcelona, Spain

Updated: Jun 12, 2019

A red bus tour in Barcelona seemed like the best thing to do with such limited time!

A tourist's eye view of this magical place.

Amazing food, sights, markets, The Sagrada Familia, a climb up the hill for a visit to the National Gallery and the Olympic village and a quick visit to the beach and even a visit to the Olympic football stadium and town.

Crazybikeguy commented on how clean the city is, how proud the Spaniards are of this beautiful place. Lots of tourists around as the weather was lovely - sunny blue skies and warm temperatures.

Grant managed to squeeze in a bit of bike maintenance, buying more protein bars and stocking up on lots of snacks to try and keep energy levels up on the long rides as well as eating very well on days like these where he has access to good quality food, lots of variety and protein.

A long day taking in the sights and exercising those legs to get rid of the lactic acid build up with an early night in the hope of getting some solid sleep in anticipation of the trip inland that lies ahead tomorrow.

Our Mission. Their future.
